One of my prouder moments

A few weeks ago, I did something that scared me a lot... I cut a big chunk of fabric out of the front of a sweater, and replaced it with upholstery fabric.  I was extremely worried about sewing a completely non-stretch fabric to a very stretchy fabric and having the entire project fail.  Thankfully, with some hand sewing and lots of pins, I was able to sew the panel in, stretching free, yielding one of the most successful projects I have done in a while!

  1. Wow! I love this, what a great way to spice up a boring sweater. I'll definitely have to try this in the future!
