California Trip

Tuesday, June 25, 2013

Last week we went to California to see Merrick and Company, Mickey Mouse and some good friends of Adam's (A few of these photos are courtesy of Merrick)
We had a great time going to Disneyland, just Adam and me.  We had such a great time and got to go on lots of the rides!  I got to take Adam on the teacups for his very first time, and enjoy a lovely overcast Wednesday taking in the magic of Disney!  By the way, have you ever tried the Monte Cristo Sandwich in all its deep-fried deliciousness? Next time you are at Disneyland, you should get it one... how I love them!  I want to try my hand at it sometime!

I have now decided that the L.A. Fabric District ought to become a yearly occurrence due to the amazing selection and prices of the fabrics there!  Merrick, her boys, and Adam and I wandered there for a good portion of the day!  Peanut decided that he wanted to be a treasure in the fabric bins. He was the best thing I found in the bins all day!  And, we went to Mood... mmmm... It was so fun to finally go to a fabric store like this!  All the rolls and rolls of fabric made me drool just a little!  So many beautiful patterns!
We has such a fun time at the beach with Merrick and Philip and her boys!  They kept us on our toes and laughing the whole time!  Those boys are SO cute! Another random plus about this trip was that we got to rent a Fiat... I sort of loved driving this car!  So cute! So easy to park!

Man, I miss living by such a fabulous sister!  I am so lucky to have two wonderful sisters!
I hope you get the chance to take a fabulous trip sometime this summer!
As always, thanks for stopping by!

  1. Looks like so much fun! Disneyland, I am so jealous. And also a little bit jealous of your jacket on at the beach. I haven't seen a jacket for months here in Texas.
