Raiding My Sister's Closet: 'Summer of No Pants' Contrast Band Tutorial

Tuesday, August 12, 2014

Skirts and dresses are my thing.  I have lots of them and I love wearing them.  I often get asked if I am dressed up to go someplace because I am wearing a skirt or a dress.  Summertime is a terrific time to wear them because they are often much cooler and more comfortable than pants!
My two fabulous sisters and I have teamed up with Marigold from Hideous!Dreadful!Stinky! and her 'summer of no pants' series!  We each bring you a tutorial with an easy (and awesome) way to modify this black Old Navy Dress.  I am totally in love with this dress.  I actually ordered the wine-colored one about 3 days after I received the black one in the mail because it was so comfortable and had a great fit!  I thought it would be great for a fall/winter pregnancy, but it is darling if you are not pregnant, too.
