Rain boots always make me think of London. It's ironic, really, because I didn't actually take rain boots to London. But they are the perfect place for them. I did a semester abroad in London during my college years and fell in the love with the city. It rains quite a lot in London, especially in the spring, and often I wished I had rain boots as I walked around puddles in the city. Now that I live in Texas, I find myself being extremely grateful that I have these boots, because it rains a lot here, as well. I am constantly surprised with the amount of rain that we get here. Since about 2 weeks before Christmas, it has rained about 4 out of 7 days every week, and these boots have definitely gotten some good wear! They keep my feet dry, and they are a stylish option! As a kid, I didn't have rain boots (because it rains about 3 times a year in Las Vegas, so they would be a total waste of closet space), so I have loved having many opportunities to wear them here in Texas! Hooray for happy boots on a gloomy day! And for not living in a place where snow boots are required!
Also, on a non-rain boot related note: In case you missed my announcement of the changes coming to my blog, you can find it here, and if you missed our big plans for the summer, you can find that here.
