Raiding My Sister's Closet: One Shirt Six Ways

Tuesday, November 19, 2013

A few weeks ago I had just about had it with my closet and told Adam I was going shopping.  I looked, and looked, and looked some more, and couldn't find anything that I actually felt was worth buying.  I was specifically looking for sweaters, and I couldn't find a thing that I liked.  Then last Friday, on a whim, I decided to go to J.C. Penney because I had a coupon (This is not a sponsered post, by the way.  I just happen to be a fan of J.C. Penney right now).  I spent almost 2 hours and went into the dressing room at least 6 times (It is a really good thing that there was not an attendant... they would have thought I was totally nuts).  After lots of searching, I came home with 2 fabulous pairs of pants, two blouses and an awesome almost sweater.  I felt a little silly coming home without any real sweaters, but was so thrilled with the things I actually did come home with, that it didn't really matter.  This polka-dot blouse is fast becoming a favorite.  As soon as I decided to use it for this post, I found myself with more ideas to use than I could keep up with.  It is a good pattern, a good color, classy, and fun all at the same time! And it was $9.  Aweeesome!!!!

  3. I love every single one of these outfits! Especially the last one and the one with the purple short sleeved sweater. I've been looking for the perfect polka dotted button up because they really are so versatile!

By the way, I deleted my last comment because I called yours a button up and then realized I wasn't sure whether or not it was! Regardless, it's cute :)

  4. What's your trick for rolling sleeves over the cardigan, in the last look?
