The Great Outdoors

This past weekend, we stayed overnight with 3 darling children while their parents went out of town.  The littlest girl, who is an absolute doll complete with red ringlets, round blue eyes and the most charming personality accepted me with open arms and then told me very frankly, "You have a small head." And I absolutely do.  I have mentioned this before, but I was reminded of this again looking at these pictures of me in a hat and just had to laugh all over again at being told by a 3-year old that I have a small head...  I don't have very many hats, sadly, because I can hardly ever find on that fits properly.  This one is a particular favorite, because it looks so... train conductor...?  Or something.  Anyway, I like the stripes.  And the shape.  And the train conductorness of it all.
